Air Quality Product Manager
Location: San Diego, CA 92131
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: 90,000 - $125,000
***Must have experience with Federal Air Quality and Emissions Regulations***

An industry leading manufacturer of Environmental and Electronic Measurement Instruments is seeking a product manager to join their team.
Job Duties:
· Create business plans for new products or new applications, including ROI analysis of the opportunities, working cooperatively with other functions of the organization.
· Participate and lead cross-functional product development project teams.
· Create and lead the execution of new product launches.
· Liaise with our engineering and marketing staff on new technology evaluations.
· Participate in planning and execution of major sales and marketing events such as new product launches, seminars, tradeshows, training meetings etc., worldwide.
· Function as a market and applications resource for Regional and International Sales Managers, working directly with our sales channels as appropriate.
· Give technical product demonstrations, presentations, and seminars.
· Technical assistance to the Sales & Marketing team as necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in a physical science, engineering or a related discipline required. An MBA or advanced technical degree would be an advantage.
· Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with instrumentation, preferably environmental.
· Strong strategic and tactical planning, organization and implementation skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Self-starter, able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
· Ability to successfully participate in and lead cross-functional teams, to influence others towards a consensus, and to gain support for strategies.
· Knowledge of US and International environmental monitoring regulations and approval processes would be an advantage.
· Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestic and international.
